To a Deer Stand in the Sky
Remembering Grandpa
By From Your Grandson
I lost my hunting partner, my Grandpa to cancer this week. I'll
alway's remember his nickname for me : Jack. We used to have Windsor
with our Coke as we played Michigan Rummy in the old deer shack.
One year I brought Jack Daniels instead. Ever since then he called
me Jack. I will really miss him when he's not there next year.
It was a time for the generations to get together and bond.

My Dad says jokingly that he's sitting in his deer stand in the sky and that
when we're ready he'll help us put ours together.

 Grandpa has
a great family that will always love him. Someday I hope to have a
family just like it. Thanks to Grandma and Grandpa I've got a great
Dad who'd make an excellent Grandpa. It's a good start.

 Thank you
Grandpa for the memories and love you've passed on to your grandson.
I love you and I'll miss you.
